Before my last quarter ended, I had to clean up my room for whoever was going to replace my former roommate. Right when I thought I'd finished I saw a notice stating that everything had to be off of our heating/cooling units because they were going to be serviced. So I had to move my TV off my dresser (because I'm at the school's Inn, they already had a TV here) and into my closet and then all of my food off of the heating/cooling unit and onto my dresser. When I left, I had both heat and cool air.
When I got back, I had cool air. No heat. Which is great when, you know, it's winter, getting cold...and I'm in upstate New York...
Someone came by and fixed it a day later but now I'm having more trouble. My TV won't work. It broke. Yep, broke. I have just a black screen. Mind you, all the TV's here seem to suck. You change a channel and it takes like two or three seconds for the picture to show up so if you lose your remote and you're on channel 2 and need to get to channel 33, and fast...sorry 'bout your luck. It could take you almost two minutes to get there.
Oh, and apparently my shower is somewhat unsafe because the railing is loose. Thank god I never fell and grabbed at it. The tub is also cracked.
Newly redone my ass...
