my good friend has a very big problem because she never eats and has been doing this for years...i'm really worried that shes really hurting herself

if you had a friend you were really worried about, what would you say to them to get the point across that they needed to stop? i want to talk to her first before i go to anyone else, you know...

I'd just tell them that I was sincerely worried about them and if there was any way I could help or support them, I'd do it.

If things continue the way they are and you genuinely think her health is in danger then maybe you should talk to her parents about it?

Sit her down and tell her how you feel. sometimes people in these situations cant see that they have a problem Tell her what you have noticed and how she's changed. If this doesnt work, then you need to go to her parents or another trusted adult

I'd start be sitting down and talking to her. Ask her why she's doing it and tell her that it's not healthy. Shinny is not the same as being healthy. Make sure she knows that you are doing this to protect her and not to be mean.
If she doesn't want to listen or if she doesn't take all this into consideration, I would probably talk to a parent or your counselor. Tell them that she's hurting herself. Then let them get help for her.
But whatever you do, be supportive for her. Let her know that things will be okay.
