So why do you oppose equal treatment?
i don't, but the whole "whites are looked down upon and aren't allowed to do things other races are" is way too overplayed. get over it, our lives don't suck.
I'm sure that the next time you get attacked for sitting at the wrong table or walking down the wrong hallway you will simply say 'oh I'm sorry for being in your racially segregated area, i should have known better than to enter a place where whites aren't allowed'
never been in that situation. and to be attacked is assault, whether you are black, white, red, purple with pink polka dots, etc. the law handles it, dear.

The law doesn't do anything to the black man. They're just out to keep the white man down.

The law will handle it, you were in their racially segregated area, thus it is your own damn fault for being attacked. That and/or it would be 'racist' for there to be any charges pressed against those who attacked you. We saw how the law handled those who participated in the 6 v 1 attack in Jena. First they arrested those who committed the act of violence, then they were threatened for being 'racist' and then those who committed the act of violence were treated as heros for attacking the kid.

So why should we tolerate and encourage places where they are attacked on the basis of their race?
You are such an idealist. Fixing one problem (whites feeling persecuted) may create another problem (other races feeling persecuted). Find a happy balance, aka no one race becomes the national scapegoat for problems (WWII japs, post 9/11 arabs, etc.) and you've struck a decent middle ground, I feel. I don't disagree that things could be nicer, but how do you actually get it done?

in a court of law, unless it's a hate crime, race will be overlooked. forget about what the community thinks is "racist."

Bull fuck it does, I mightn't be black but I know quite well both how it is to have the shit kicked out of you for being "different" from the "majority" and I know how the law reacts to people which belong to such groups. It doesn't matter if your a minority race or just different in your ways or appearance the odds are against you of being treated fairly when filing a charge of a member of the majority for something.
