Basically im an a level student so theres always shit loads of homework.
The guy who does this job where i work is leaving so i said i'd do it :D
Its long hours but awsome.
I can do homework, i can play on the laptop, i can watch football, i can bring in my ps3 and play it.
The job is hall portering but on the weekend its soooo quiet there's nothing to do!
Basically i have a till which people pay breakfast and lunch at which is right next to where i sit and you only get about 5 people for breakfast and 10 through for lunch.
And i can get a full cooked breakfast for £1!
And...its £650 a month...which means i will be able to afford a car, insurance. tax, mot, petrol etc.
Before i couldn't have afforded it and i could never ask my mum...even though she'd force me to drive anyway(cuz she never likes taking me anywhere and always complains).

But yea :D...the good thing for me is i get quiet time on the weekend to do homework and coursework...so i can get good grades and go far, far away from home to uni :D

Wewt!

About 1300$
Its not a great everyday pay cheque but for a student its great! Especially since i can do all my work at same time...and wont have to come home from my current job and try to rush and get everything done for monday.

Most of my friends are only getting £200-280
Plus i get £120 a month in ema (if im not late to school once all month)
So im laughing it up :)....i'll be saving a lot though
My mates are gonna organise a holiday to Corfu for a week just after our exams...£300 per person for a 4 star holtel! Includes flights and accommodation for the week! + breakfast & dinner.

We used to get it for free...:(...but Aramark came in and told staff they had to pay for everything...we get the cheaper rates though :).
So a full dinner is like £1.59 for pudding, soup, break,  and meal...
Opposed to the £3 civilians have to pay.
