so i dated this guy for over a year. while we had some good times there were some pretty awful ones too. he had a shock value sense of humor that brought me to tears a lot. trust i can handle mean jokes and throw them back at you but he just kept making meaner and meaner jokes until i cried. also he would always go drink with the guys and black out and curse me out then. in the morning when i would be upset with him for this it would all somehow be my fault because he was blacked out and couldnt remember anything and therefore should not be at fault. even the day we broke up he was high and just kept saying he wants to bone other girls and while i cried he just kept saying "keep crying little baby." of course he doesnt remember saying any of that stuff to me either. now almost a year later we've started speaking again and he always says "im sorry i was a dick." he'll bring up our fights from the past but i refuse to talk about them because we'll either fight a lot more or i'll just make him feel bad and i dont want either. so finally i started talking to him about one of the fights and of course he denied saying any of the things i told him he said and he started yelling at me. he flat out tells me that he thought he was a great boyfriend to me. i just ignore his statements. hes starting to get involved with another girl now and im completely supportive however im just curious as to whether or not he will behave the same. i dont think people change. but who knows
