I applied for the Fall (August) semester b/c that fit well w/ my plans for the next year. But events have come up and it might be better to attend a semester or two earlier.
So IF I get accepted for the Fall semester would it be possible to ask to start earlier (Spring or Summer)? Ever heard of anyone doing this?

nope. you apply per semester. you would have had to apply for the spring semester in order to be able to do that.

Depends on the school. You'll probably be able to defer admission up to a year, from what the schools I applied to told me.
