I think the issue here is her boyfriend is getting annoyed by it, and not necessarily that he really thinks she's cheating, but it's one of those things where you hear people say stuff like that a lot and it starts getting to you, even though better judgement says they're wrong. It doesn't make her uptight in the least, it just means she prefers not to be the butt of such perverse "jokes."
