From what I gather "dry counties" are rather rare in the United States, for obvious reasons. Anyone else live in or near one. Do you think it helps your area or hinders it?

Even in Alabama there are only a couple of dry counties. A vast majority of our counties drench themselves in alcohol.

This is mainly for people who live in the U.S. , but I happen to live in a dry county where the consumption, production, or distribution of alcohol is illegal and will get you arrested no matter if your drinking at home or anything.

I live in a dry county. Bible belt, I suppose. But it's stupid, considering you can drive over the Arkansas river and buy it there, hahaha. My dad does it every Friday.

Strange that most of you have never heard of a Dry County.

Yeah I know. All the counties surrounding me sells alcohol so anyone can easly get access to it anyways.
