Have fun in my city. And these are just threats and rumors an don't worry you have the FBI and Police to protect you agianst terror. As far as I know it will be safe and happy.

And I agree with GoloSLB the benfica fan. Most of the terrorist acts are caught and destroyed. You will be safe have fun man in my City NY City.

loooooool and who do you support?

Athletic Bilbao, haha. Just kidding. Good Spanish team. I like Zenit Saint Petersburg from Russia. I like other teams too like AC Milan in Italy. I am sure you know how good kaka and arshavin are. Benfica are struggling this year and last year.

Yah, Arshavin is one of the most underrated players in the world.  Zenit hasn't been doing to bad either.  Yeah lol @ Benfica I'm dying right now...my second team just kicked the sh*t out of them in the UEFA Cup

Arshavin was always great in the russian league and the national team. He was always one of the best players in the russian team. Now he is famous becauce he performed in the backstage and millions of people all over the world saw him. He is a star now.....and his team crushed european giants like Bayern Munchen and Bayer Leverkusen.  I saw these games, he assisted and scored so many goals. The defenders could not handle him. He was too good..
Haha Benfica are in decline, it will be another hard season. Get ready. Your team I won't say it offensively is disorganized. Where is the offense and midfield? it is lacking and the teamwork is not there like in Zenit or Milan. Benfica needs to get rid of some players and reorganize the team.

Yeah I agree.  I mean we're first in league right now, but we always seem to do bad in Europe.  Its sad really.  I dunno what to think.  I think the team just needs to completely reinvent itself and be reminded of who and what they represent.  And we need stars, like Arshavin, or at least a leader, something.  We're a big fish in a little pond, but when it comes to Europe we're drowning. How is Zenit doing so far btw? I haven't had much of a chance to watch them as I would like to...but I've always admired them as a team.

I fully agree with you Golo that Benfica needs to reinvent itself and needs a leader and a star. It used to have a leader and star but now it does not. I didn't know Benfica is first in the league but I have not looked at the Portuguese league table in a while. Cardozo looks good he scores goals which Benfica needs.
Zenit underachieved and did not do well in the Russian League they finished 6th despite scoring the most goals. Zenit will play in "Europa League" next year as it will be called next year.  Zenit's players were tired from playing so many matches UEFA SUPER CUP Russian supercup champions league international matches russian league russian cup matches. Too many matches. 3 mathes in 10 days at times. zenit was tired. And injures to defenders caused a problem as well as the schedule. The team passes well and plays very a great passing game. I have watched almost every zenit game this year I have only missed a few and I can tell you Zenit is a very good team, the only weakness is defense at times and that is due to injuries. Zenit dominated agianst real and juventus in champions league but the defense injuries and inexperience showed. Despite dominating possession and shots Zenit ended with a draw.  Well I could tell you more about Zenit and the russian league but I will stop there. That should be enough for you. An interesting fact about zenit all the players in the squad play or have played for thier national teams or thier youth teams. Only 1 player does not play for the national team. And Zenit has a Portuguese star Danny who is higher class player. And arshavin might leave or he might stay. It is up to him, his contact ends in 2008 and you know that 2008 is ending and 2009 will start soon. Well good luck for benfica and it's fans. And I see you were warned Golo. be careful the football and european community needs you here.

yea, go for it in New York... ever actually seen the ball drop?

It's incredibly difficult to get within a few blocks unless you show up hours and hours early... and it's because all the surrounding suburbanites (Long Island, Brooklyn, New Jersey and Connecticut) show up and crowd the streets... so you should find a party to retreat to as well
