He'll be fine. I snort Valium (similar to Xanax) sometimes because it starts working faster that way. Probably not healthy but oh well.

Nothing changes just because he snorted it, except that it'd be in the system faster/more. Just tell him to watch the amount. But it's not bad. Though if he's prescribed Xanax and is abusing it, that doesn't sound like a good idea.
