yes. if they have your ip address they can access your files and everything. If you have a firewall or router it will make it a bit harder but they can still get in there

You'd have to extremely retarded to have a set-up where they could access any more than a small portion of your files.

Possible... yes. But we're talking about the best of the best of hackers there, as they would have to have certain knowledge and equipment to do just that.
And even then, they would need access to some sort of in. If you dont have a server, or any sort of external access protocol, its still not going to happen. Im not sure, a mail server (Outlook) could be enough of an in though. At the very least they would have access to your email. Again, this is assuming the greatest of hackers.
