Why are there so many wonderful, great, people on here who harm themselves, and they won't listen to me when I plead and beg for them to stop, but then they tell me it's wrong for me to do it to myself, and I'm easily the worst, worthless, terrible member on LiveWire.

They probably feel a lot like you do - they're ok when it comes to themselves, but they don't want other people to do it, because they understand what it does to you, and on some level acknowledge that they hate it for themselves, and therefore don't want others to go through it.
I do exactly the same thing. When I'm browsing trying to help people I tell them not to, but if someone tells me to stop I can't bring myself to listen, even though it's what I would tell them if the positions were reversed.
