My dad is into computer networking. I don't know the first thing about it but from what he's told me it sounds like a pretty good deal. He's going to give me all of his books for the course for a self-study so I can just go pay for the A 1 certification instead of all the classes plus the certification like he has to. I don't know how well this pays or how hard it is to learn but I'm game to try it. I was wondering if anyone had any information on what it actually is that I'd be doing. Also my grandpa is a computer programer and that's what I really wanted to get into. But it's alot of training and right now I don't have time with my 17 month old unless I could do it online and even then I'm not sure I'd make enough to pay for the courses. So would it be better to just get the A 1 certification (Windows) first and then pursue programing later or should I just jump at my chance to learn programing and get it over with?
