The 8GB iPod holds approximately 2,000 songs and 10 hours of video. If you are planning to put a lot of videos onto your iPod, however, I would recommend getting the 16GB iPod touch that holds 20 hours of video, as an 8GB iPod will fill up with videos pretty quickly.

Really?  Cause a full length movie is usually about 700-800 MB, which is less than a GB obviously.

Unless you're putting all your favorite movies on it at once I don't see the need to shell out more money.

2000 songs OR 10 hours of video, not both.

I Dont plan on putting videos on it.
And the iPod touch doesnt mean much to me, it wont be used enough tbh.

I would say about 1500 or so. Because from experience, Apple uses the lowest quality of songs for their averages and most of the music you have will be of higher quality, therefore less will hold.
