Nashville has the Predators, thats the closest team to you.  I think there will be 2 new expansion teams in 09/2010  

they talking about Portland OR, and Richmond VA (would be the first time any of them had pro-hockey and first time Richmond ever had a pro-sport other than cricket)

Actually, I think the Blues are probably the closest NHL team. But I don't know if I could ever bring myself to root for a St. Louis team.

That's awesome that they're going to be adding some expansion teams. I think KC would be a great place for a hockey team. We have the new Sprint Center right in the middle of downtown with the new Power and Light District a few blocks away.

Too bad McCain couldn't even run his campaign well, the country is a lot bigger than that. Plus, we needed a guy who could possibly be re-elected if they made improvements because things won't get done in 4 years and a switch could throw any progress off. McCain would be too old for re-election and Palin wouldn't be able to gain nearly as McCain has enough to take over.
