So I think i'm gonna try to cut out all caffeine from my life.  I typically have a couple cups of coffee in the morning, and drink pop throughout the day.  Especially while in school and at work.  

I've always had moderate level bloodpressure, higher than it should be at my age.  Do you think cutting out caffeine will even have an effect on that? I mean, I feel like it should if i'm drinking it consistently throughout the day.

I'm still gonna be smoking, which is horrible for blood pressure but that doesn't mean I shouldn't take other steps to reduce it.

Oddly, I tried a week long caffeine detox and generally felt much more healthy and on the ball.

My friend conducted a similar experiment with the same results.

Nice.  I don't really notice any general effects of to much caffeine like fatigue or whatever, but considering it makes your heart work harder I think it will benefit me in different ways.
