In the 1970s Africa was not overpopulated at all and still famine was a problem there.
That is determined by what you call "Overpopulation." What do you set the limit as? It's all YT's fault. Before the arrival of Whites, a small number of Negroes were able to scrape out a subsistence lifestyle from Africa. The population was kept in check by mother nature and the knowledge of the Negro. Nature was allowed, unchecked, to keep a relatively small number of Negroes in relative harmony with nature by virtue of their number. And along comes YT with his vaccines, medicine, sanitation, etc. Infant mortality in Africa plummets, the life expectancy sky rockets. The Negroes do not see or understand what is happening, so it keeps reproducing like before without regards to demographic trends. The difference is that now, in African countries with small White populations and White doctors, when a Negro has eight children, seven of them survive to puberty as opposed to the two who were surviving 100 years ago. Thus, a MAJOR drain on the land, the resources, etc... all of Africa is soon to turn into one big Haiti. The negro population is too large, it's putting too much pressure on a land which cannot sustain their numbers. Africa and its population haven't - and may never - adapt to what is happening.

No it's not determined by overpopulation. Read Bud2400's post. It explains what happened.
No it's not determined by that, read my post. It explains what happened.

Stop being a parrot and try making sense. Oh I know its tough. Here I am reposting Bud2400 posts for you
Africa's main problem with famine results in the fact that countries like the US subsidizes its agriculture and then exports its food products overseas to places such as Africa. Then the food is thrown into their markets at a price cheaper than the cost of production, and since African governments cannot subsidize agriculture as the IMF (who they have taken loans out of during the late 1970s during the oil crisis), farmers are forced out of business and the country is completely dependent on foreign imports of food. Sending massive amounts of food for aid only exasperates this problem even further. So now you have African citizens without work and thus without money. This sort of thing keeps them impoverished, and therefore dependent on food imports from the US. And remember, when you import something as vital as food like that, the price can vary a great deal depending on the cost of transportation. Back last summer when gas was at least $4 a gallon, it only drove the costs of food for them up even further, and with their food industry already destroyed, it's not exactly like they can just go back to farming so easily, so they're stuck. This was the biggest causes of the World Food Crisis that was going on, and still is to some extent. If not for these problems and with a working agricultural industry, Africa could easily feed itself today, even with its current population.
