Save it for a down payment on something better? If you had a decent down payment lined up, you could basically steal a car from a dealership.

Cheapest Tempo I've ever seen was $600, and the only other one for under a grand is that Oxford White $800 GL. Its a junk yard car too. Other then that, I've never seen one go for under $1,000.
