Manual any day of the week.

Just because some paddle-shift/semi-manual can shift faster does not make it better, looses the feel of the car.  Great for F1/other dedicated racing cars but not for people like me on the road.

Depends on why your buying the luxury car. If you want to just sit back and enjoy the ride, something more automatic is just going to work better. If your driving the car, because you love driving, nothing beats a manual.
Having a manual luxury car though is the best of both worlds, shifting isn't hard, only if you want it to be. To get the feel of the car and have all the luxuries as well is what i would call a good car.

I see no reason why they cant simply offer both drivetrains. Auto and manual. No reason to cut themselves off from a chunk of the market.

mainly becuase there is a really low percentage of people who buy these cars want manual so it saves money in making hem beforehand.
