I have a herniated disc pinching on a nerve that runs down my left leg. My back doesn't hut just my leg. However, my back has a significant curve.

My spine shifts its curve daily and sometimes a couple of times a day.

I'm attending physical therapy but it isn't helping.

Does anyone have any information on my injury?

I am wondering whether I should try to get surgery. I hate walking with a limp and having a curved back.

If physical therapy does not work after a few months, surgery is probably your only option.

I have the same issue. The physical therapy kept it from getting worse, and the chiropractor made it MUCH worse.
In the end I got two epidurals and am doing better.
Surgery is NOT the only option. It fucks you up.

Try epidurals before surgery. Try anything before surgery.

My sister and I both have the same thing. My sister has had multiple back surgeries and the problem still isn't fixed.
I went to a chiropractor and they did a 12 week program to fix the problem. It seemed to work, but my chiropractor called me fat so I left after 6 weeks. This was during the summer and the problem has just recently come back.
