A different wisdom test from my psychology book:

A fifteen-year-old girl wants to get married. Is this a good idea and what kind of stuff might she consider?

Unanswerable. What are the conditions? Is she wealthy, poor, middle-class? Does she have a child [15 isn't too young for that these days, as we all know]? How old is the man? Why is she contemplating marriage?

These things all change the level of "acceptability" of this situation.

this is also a cultural issue that has absolutely nothing to do with wisdom.

it does though

how?

What does the proverbial "wise-man" answer to this question? Being wise has nothing to do with one's morals [at least not one's personal morals, a wise person knows morality] and more to do with an overall deep understanding of the world, how it works, how people work/interact, and take great meaning of of his/her experiences.

not when you look at it culturally, take sociology instead of psychology its a lot more practical

First time, honestly: 3.5
Second time, pretty much playing to what I figured the test wanted: 4.8

The test is an assessment of whether you can judge what is and what is not the "wisest" action or emotion. Only fools and Yoda say that everything they do is the wisest action. I think that recognizing that you do not always take the most rational, sympathetic, or consistent path is wiser than believing you're always right.

How has that got anything to do with being wise? it's more to do with you being able to reason and understand why a 15 year old might want to get married, and using logical reasons to explain why it's not the best idea. It is largely dependant upon the specifics of the situation though.

ha! you are so far not wise its actually funny

I scored a 4 but I am very empathetic. To the point of potentially dangerous naivete, which is not wise at all.

Wisdom would be knowing when to be empathetic and when not to be.

As a certified LiveWire Intellectual I am indubitably capable of composing a more verbose post, but as a certified LiveWire Intellectual I am also capable of seeing when verbosity is unecessary, as it is in this topic which has asked for scores and not long winded answers of huge analysis.

4.3 but the questions are based on a likert scale and aren't very efficient in rating anything.

The questions on this test barely have anything to do with wisdom and more with relating to other people.
