What is one (or multiple) reasons to have IMMEDIATE heart surgery?
Also, what are some diseases/health problems that develop into a need for surgery? (Example: Johnny gets into a car accident, comes home, and is rushed back to the hospital two weeks later in an ambulance and they call for surgery)

When my brother was born, he had a heart defect of sorts causing one of the valves to be backward, and he had to have that replaced right after birth.
