I don't think it's something anyone has true control over, I mind it, but there's nothing I would ever do about it because if my significant other didn't like me to be friends with my ex I'd be mad.

yes. really what is the point of staying friends with an ex. i mean there are a few exceptions to this but it's rare. most of the time i think its unnecessary for exes to be friends
