I'm applying for Swinbourne, Melbourne, and Deakin U here.

Also applying for MIT in America, and maybe also for Harvard and Dartmouth if I get a really good SAT next year.

I applied, but never did any of the application process --interview, etc. Wound up going to Rensselaer Polytechnic. Though, mostly because MIT's Astronautical Engineering dept. isn't a very large program.  

Probably wouldn't have gotten in anyway. You need to have done a TON of extra-curricular work in the field of science or engineering.

edit:
Just to clarify, I am not claiming that MIT's undergrad program is easy or easy to get into, and especially not that it doesn't put out good engineers. Just that it isn't the mecca of engineering as most people view it as.

I got into SFSU, and I applied to UC's Berkeley and Santa Cruz.  Also, depending on MIT results, any combination of some of these: Cornell, Caltech, RPI, CMU, and Stanford.

I won't be disappointed if I don't get into MIT.  No lie, though: it looks like a really fun place to learn.  College is college, though, when everything is boiled down.

Just to clarify, by "college" I mean university-level schools. I know that in some parts of Europe (at least) "college" is highschool. Such is the case in France, I think.

Primary school (ages 5-11)
Secoundary school (11-16)
College (usually, 16-18)
Uni, (18+)
