You'll be alright. Except the scar will be wider. Mine is like a caterpiller on my leg instead of a thin line cos I went swimming and they broke but I just taped it up. It was fine.

i'd just get one of those big ass bandaids (the ones they use for burns and stuff) and put it on and keep it clean until you can go and get them fixed up.

Definetly get that fixed at the ER. If you can't make it, go to the drugstore and buy those at-home adhesive stitches. They do work really well.

go back to the ER, it can get infected fast unless you live in a setrile enviroment....infection can make you miss more school days/ work days which in that case i would hope for an infection

Depends on how much of a scar that is acceptable to you. If you don't get it repaired you will definitely have a nasty scar. I would suggest that you clean it real good, bandage it up and go to the doctor.
