That's not true. There have been cases of physically addiction. And not to forget mental addiction.

marijuana does not cause withdrawal symptoms, it is not a physical addiction all rehab centers will even acknowledge this
EVEN if that's true, which I'm not saying it is, it's still mentally addictive.

maybe if you read the quote, you'll see the fact i am referring to what's stupid is assuming you know the facts, without ever having looked it up for yourself
trust me i know facts. yeah i know you meant that they both only psychologically addictive, but claiming that in an argument is stupid because marijuana is not the same as eating cotton candy or eating spagetti, it's a drug and it alters your state of mind, you're definitely more likely to get addicted to marijuana than cotton candy.

it's not bad. i have friends that refuse to smoke pot because of the negative societal stigma, yet even when i'm high, i can produce better assignments, grades, and everything else. i even study harder than them after i've smoked. it's funny to see their frustration, as they grew up - as i had - believing that those who smoke marijuana are stupid and unproductive, and while they still believe it holds true, i'm proving everything they thought they knew as eight year olds wrong.

it's going to be something like, 'yeah, my distant twice-removed uncle with low self-esteem and was a pathological murderer got hooked on weed, smoked it, and got arrested for possession' you have no actual one-on-one experience with the drug, so why bother bullshitting about it? i've heard people completely write off marijuana because they 'know somebody that got into a car accident [and it might have been related to pot]' i mean, hey, i'm sure there are accidents every day where some average joe pulls out of tim horton's with a coffee and gets into a car crash an hour later with caffeine in his system. do the people affected by that event not drink pop anymore? no, because that'd be stupid and irrational. oh!
