so i just found out that my opa (grandpa, for those non german folk) had put away 23 THOUSAND dollars for my post high school education when i was born, the intrest will be pretty good by now i think, even if the market is fritzy right? i think they're in bonds... any way i also live in the north so i get some wicked mad sfa (my loans get paid off if i come back to work for three years, and it doesn't cut into my pay, they'll pay my tuition, one semester for each year i've gone to school here whicsh is my whole life, adn i get 1000 a month for expenses) but i want to go to school in vancouver, so it's like MAD pricey, and i like pot alot, so i know i'll be spending a fair ammount of money, plus books supplies and the high high rent in bc is all quite the cost. any whoo, i'm just wondering, do you guys think that i could go and like a nice few years off the money i have, or should i work for a year, live rent free with my folks, and make mad cash to make my life easier when i go? Well, seeing as money doesn't last forever, I, my opinion though, think that you should save the money, for safe-keeping. Money won't last forever, and the more you have, usually, the better, for the moment. You might encounter yourself in a sticky situation where you really need some money, and then you won't have it. I suggest that you put most of your money away, and just keep making more, and then, in the holidays, you can spend the money you made, not the money stowed away. That's what I would do. In the end, I can only suggest things, I obviously can't tell you what to do, but just be careful so that you don't waste it all on stuff that's useless. I hope this helps.
