My school is pretty good. We currently have approximately 1200 students. The student population consists of mainly Italians, which means that there are a lot of hot-headed, conceited students. However, if you are referring to the academic program, I would say that it is pretty good. We have qualified teachers and a very good academic program. Our graduation rate is extremely high. However, our school does not rank anywhere near the top high schools in my city.
You have to understand that cigarettes and drugs will be available at any high school. If there are these things available to you at your school, it does not necessarily mean that your school is bad.
You just have to be your own person and know when to avoid giving in to peer pressure.
