This is counter-intuitive. What is going on girls? Why are the mean girls the non pretty girls?

Maybe YOUR problem is that you're subconsciously making more of an effort to talk to those so called beautiful girls, and you're sending out rejective (not a word) vibes to those middle girls.

I'm told I'm pretty. I don't personally go around thinking it, but I get told it enough.

i think its the complete opposite to be honest. phyically beautiful girls tend to have ugly personalities and are more self centered then average girls. if average looking girls seem to be way to busy to talk or mean its usually bc they lack the self confidence. though its not always the case and every person is different but thats just how view things.
