His other friend turned out to be a guy I had a REALLY rocky relationship with. Like...he was constantly bordering on abusive, but would stop himself just in time so he knew I couldn't really do anything about it, you know? He refused to let me break it off when things first started getting scary, so I started looking around again like I was single and just tried to ignore him as much as I could.

What do you know? I must attract HUGE creeps, because the next guy I was interested in tries to rape me at a party, my boyfriend walks in and kicks the guy's ass. He was FURIOUS with me and hit me a little, but I explained to him what happened and for a while we were okay. I never told anyone else. A few months ago, HE breaks up with ME (finally!) and we hadn't spoken since.

But he shows up at the party, we're all a little tipsy, and we start playing truth or dare in a small little circle on the floor just because. After a little while someone asked me to tell my deepest darkest secret, which was that I was almost raped. I was planning on making something up, and he speaks over me and goes "I know her darkest secret."

I gave him such a death glare, and he continues, "At a party a few months ago, I discovered this secret."

I'm starting to freak out thinking that he's going to tell everyone, and he says "Her secret is that she's a whore who likes to blame others for things that are her fault."

I reached over and hit him in the face. Twice. Then I just stood up and left. I walked home, I didn't care that it was sleeting, I just wanted to get away from him and I didn't want to talk to anyone.

Well yesterday the friend who was friends with him sees me at the store and tells me that after I left, he told everyone how I was cheating on him and he caught me and I tried to blame it on the guy, and I was wicked manipulative our whole relationship, and making up a bunch of bullshit to make me look bad. A few of my friends actually believed him and told him he should press charges because I hit him, and he's considering it.

What the hell am I supposed to do?
