Is the beta worth it? Is it buggy and how does it handle current video cards and other hardware?

Apparantly it's very very stable.  It's hardware and software compatibility is reportedly excellent according to Windows guru Paul Thurrott.

Is it worth it?  Depends really.  Mainly on how bored you're feeling.

It even says on their download page that it may be glitchy, so don't use it on a computer needed for every day functioning.

It's not really worth trying right now for anything other than Development and just trying it out. I hear it's a bit buggy, but largely it's fine. It doesn't run a lot of programs though, since it's not really designed to do more than be a test platform.

I've heard nothing but good things from people on this site. It's apparently incredibly stable

It's pretty stable, everything worked fine for me, but to be honest it's not worth repartitioning your computer and all that crap just to use an OS for all of 3 days until the fun wears out. Plus, the beta expires in August. Just get it to see how it is, delete after.

Run it in Virtual PC if you can to make life easier.  Virtual PC 2007 is a free download from Microsoft.
