that I thought I might have yeast infection, and asked if she would come with me to the doctors and she said she would.
I was so relieved, I was scared she'd call me gross or something.

I've never been to the doctors without a parent, and I've never booked my own appointment.
Can you go without a parent if you're 16?
And what questions are they likely to ask when you book it?

no not usually, you have to have a parent. but if you think its a yeast infection then there are over the counter medicines you can buy...

ur gonna have to have your parent, i can almost guarantee it

You can go without a parent, no problem.

The only questions while booking will be when you want to the appointment AND maybe what the nature of your visit is.

You can, and they will keep it confidential, although your parents might receive a bill or see the appointment on their insurance.
There are also a lot of non-prescription medications for yeast infections that apparently work really well. Unless the infection is really bad, I suggest trying one of those first and seeing if it works.

I don't want to get an over the counter thing, incase I don't have a yeast infection and I muck up my body from taking unnecessary medication.

Okay well if you are in England that would be useful knowledge to have when answering your question.

Like I said, try something from the drugstore and if it doesn't work, call the doctor and you can ask them on the phone "Will I be able to keep this completely confidential and will my parents have no knowledge of this visit?" It's not that hard to just ask.

Why don't you just call the doctor then. And tell them your symptoms and ask if they think you should come in or try an over the counter medication.
