Either way, I understand your preference for white girls, because a preference is exactly what it is -- a preference. But don't let color get in the way of finding someone nice-- regardless of what color she is. I mean, judging a person's attractiveness on skin color is different versus hair color, eye color, facial features, because those can be changed easily. I'm not telling you who to like, but don't knock other things till you try it.

Mochaa is right, though.  There's a fine line between aesthetic preference and racial discrimination, I think.

It's times like this where it can be tempting to knock an entire group of girls....but then you look at the others and realize they suck too.

Not all black girls are trouble...was one cute black girl who worked at a Hot Topic I met..but I never did get her number even after she made her interest obvious. Such a chump.

That said, I don't really get where you're coming from as far as the attractiveness goes. But it's quite obvious fate would have me end up with a white or asian girl seeing as the stuff I'm into. Just a lot more compatibility (race/ethnicity) has zip to do with it. Too many black and even latina girls in my area knock a guy down because he's not a G. Not all but a good majority prefer the sort.

I don't see where you're having difficulty though..never had much trouble attracting girls who are white. One chick back in Highschool did tell me she's never found a black guy attractive..pretty much to my face with the obvious intention of wanting me to hear it. She was pretty chubby though so I'm not sure if she wanted the feeling of being desired along with the power to reject or what. She did say Nelly was hot previously so she's a real ass-talker. Obviously she didn't get the memo not all us blackies like it extra thick.

I think you're insecure about not being white so you don't approach white girls in fear of being rejected because you're whatever it is you are. Just do it...if a girl is shallow enough to not date you for the sole reason you're not white, bitch isn't worth bothering with in the first place. Thats how you can easily spot a cunt. Preference Smeference...this isn't a topic of attractiveness it's a topic of not dating someone because of their ethnicity regardless of how great they are or make you feel which is *GASP* racism. I do know that the majority of white chicks I know only date white dudes, but on the other hand I've seen a good bit of hot ass white chicks who only date darker skinned guys.

Most white girls like white guys with tans, but if your a light skinned black guy or hispanic... You basically just got a natural tan. I'm sure you'll find a chick who digs interracial dating. If not, then you should come to where I live... I've even seen a good bit of white chicks with solid black dudes.

Oh sure it can - the only problem with attraction is that much of it is very subliminal.

He's probably been conditioned to prefer white girls.  This could be the result of a greater familiarity with them, a more positive view of them than non-white girls, a white girl or two he had experience with in the past (whether through friendship, a crush, or whatever), could be that they tend to have features he likes more (which could be perpetuated by the media), and among other things.

And you know, another big one is that always goes unperceived are phermones.  I doubt it would factor into this case as it's equal for all humans, but phermones do make a bit of a difference.  For example, men tend to prefer women who were menstruating based on how they smelled over women who weren't.  Women also pick up on this over time and tend to synchronize their periods.  Women in dorms and sororities tend to have their periods much closer together by the end of the school year than at the beginning.  An interesting tidbit.
