Hi guys
for some reason whenever I turn my laptop off and back on, or sometimes when i put it to sleep, when it comes back up it can't connect to the internet. it sees the wireless network but can't connect to the internet unless i go downstairs and power cycle the modem/router
I can't even access the router control panel when i'm connected to the network without internet, which seems odd
would hard coding my IP address help solve this at all, or is there another fix?
thanks

This is fail on so many levels...

Anyway, yeah. Try setting a static ip address for your computer. It sounds like the routers not giving out addresses like it should. Does this happen with any other computers?
