Yes. Israel bombs Mosques, and innocent people. They aren't after Hammas, they are there to kill more and more people. More than 400 Palestinian died. Israel's march into Gaza, won't solve anything. It'll just increase the violence. They are not wanting peace, they want to FIGHT.

There are reasons and logic behind how we feel. We're not just freaking nuts. We see what Israel is doing, and how it is taking advantage of having more power. If Israel wanted peace, they would have not marched into Gaza. This will only make the situation worse.

We are FOR peace. But we are AGAINST how Israel is dealing with this matter.

They have made it clear that they want Israel gone. In Israeli's mind the time for negotiation has passed (for now). Negotiation has been attempted and reached a dead end constantly. Now do I want peace negotiations to stop?

Of course not. I want them to find peace. However I can see why the Israelis are taking action. Now I wont condone the deaths of over 70 civilians. Its terrible, just as no one should condone the suicide bombings by the Palestinian extremists.

Do I enjoy seeing the Israelis invading Gaza? No. However I can see why they are doing so. Negotiations have failed, Hamas broke a cease fire and sent rockets across the Israeli border.

Now I ask you, can you see why the Israelis want to eliminate Hamas? Do you think in your minds that it is at least POSSIBLE that the Israeli objective (while perhaps extreme) is to eliminate Hamas and stop the rockets from crossing the border at Israeli civilians?

I realize that you think they are only trying to massacre Palestinians but isn't it possible to see the Israelis side? See that maybe their objective isn't to slaughter all Palestinians?

This is the most civil I can be in the debate. I don't want to see innocent Palestinians die, nor do I want to see Israeli civilians die. All I ask is that you have a civil and reasonable response whether you agree or disagree.

Palestinians aren't terrorists. I don't quite know their government well. But all I know is that people are suffering and dieing. Innocent civilians. And I know as a human being that shouldn't happen. Peace needs to come. But Israel needs not to use excessive force like it has.

hardly any Israelis have been killed, a number of 14 in 2 years is nothing compared to the Palestinian casualties which would be well over 1000.

However the mind set of the Israelis is understandable. Hamas wants them wiped off the map, Iran wants them wiped off the map, as well as many other terrorist organizations surrounding them.

Paranoia surely reaches a high when you know that surrounding your country are many extremists who want nothing more than to eliminate every Israeli there is.

Extreme reaction to any sort of attack by these people is sure to set in. Is the action of the Israelis extreme in response to the rocket attacks?

In many people's minds, yes. However as a state in constant danger, it can be seen as to why they respond so quickly and aggressively to attacks on them.
