Mother Earth

In the centre of the Earth a goddess did sleep
Mother Earth
Now she has awakened woe to her for she has cause to weep
Mother Earth
The world of birds and butterflies under grey skies
Man thought they could control her all lies
She goes her own way
The world has turned for the worst sad to say
She watches from the mountains as humans desecrate her world
This is the way man continues to live
In the centre of the Earth a goddess did sleep
