at the top of my ipod touch its like a reddish burgundy little circle its def. inside my ipod
so does anybody know what it is or if its for anything

no, i dont have one on mine. i think it might be from where the screen was pressed on. it mightve damaged some pixels.

This is what it sounds like to me, do you put a lot of pressure on the screen? if this is the case your ipod is basicly permenently damaged

no its like somehtign from inside the ipod because on mine it is a perfect reddish dot that is very hard to see up in the top right area of my ipod

light sensor. im lookin at mine right now, and its not there.

what generation of the touch do you have?
I have the newest version they just came out with.
that might be why i dont see it.
