So last year me and this girl were friends, and had hour hour long msn conversations...we were really good freinds, i even asked her out she said she was busy, but miracouslosy, the two months of school after that, nothing changed between us. Nothing at all.

This year is awkward though. We hardly talk, and recently, i've been trying to talk to her on msn. And i can safely say, not one conversation has lasted more than 5 minutes, every conversation she has an excuse an leaves. The past five times shes said she has to go eat dinner or get ready for dinner guests and what not.

So today i tried, and i tried way past dinner time, so she couldnt possibly use that, and guess what, i said hey...and she said hey, one more thing, and her third line she said she has to leave to go do homework. This completely pissed me off, and i said whatever i just wanted to ask you a single question, ur busy, fine...bye. And i left msn.

Is this just too much? I mean at school I try to always see her, and say hi (which she answers) and at parties i try to talk to her as much as i can, on msn i try to talk to her as often as i can without being annoying. (I talk to her once every week or two on msn, that is try to talk). And shes not doing anything at all, i mean even the friendship looks gone. Should i completely give up on everything then, including the rapidly deteriorating friendship, just completely stop talking to her, just forget her? Or do i keep trying, be persistant?

I would probably ask her straight up what her problem is with you.

If she beats around the bush or refuses to give a straight answer, I would just leave her alone.
