Parents have hopes, parents have dreams... but we have our own hopes and dreams, and we can't live miserable lives just to make sure that they are happy.

At the end of the day, she really just wants you to be happy, but some parents can't realize that this is your way of doing it.

Be who you want to be, put up with it for now, but later down the line, when you're more in control of your own life, you won't have to deal with as much stress :).
