I have never ever been so angry over something said over the Internet than that fucking comment. So fucking sorry that the second richest man in the world is one of the biggest single donor in the history of the fucking world as a whole. His will entitles each of his children $10,000,000 (Out of $58 billion, that's chump change) and EVERY. SINGLE. CENT other than that goes to their foundation to be spread to the needy.

I'm not putting down Microsoft or Bill Gates at all. I'm not one who buys a Mac due to Microsoft being a big company, I still use Google after all. I prefer Mac's because I find that the quality is better than the average PC and I appreciate the asthetics of it all better. Other things as well, but I actually prefer Macs. People would be dumb to pay more for a Mac for reasons such as trends, hype, or convince themselves that they like it. I grew up on Macs when everyone was on PCs, switched to PCs for a few years and switched back to Mac because after trying both, I think Mac's are better.

If you're going to quote me, quote me right. I said Windows is still MORE popular. While my popularity comment doesn't go hand in hand, it doesn't conflict because I'm saying not to hate due to the Mac's popularity, meaning that it's rising rather than it's greater than Windows'.

I was actually considering buying a mac laptop, but I don't have the patience/will to learn something new I guess.

Yeah it is hard to switch. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have to unlearn and learn each time I switched. Macs aren't too hard though, and I think they cause less frustration than Windows does. I'd suggest trying it out, they're good machines, just don't expect some Godly one though.

I usually do edit, I just didn't for some reason this time.

Personally, I much prefer OS X as an operating system, and I love the aesthetics/product design of Apple hardware, and just the way everything 'just works'. Some may see it as being 'simple' and easy to use, but I like not having to install anti-virus stuff, anti-spyware software and run defrags/scans all the time.

I also have an iPhone, and buy pretty much all my computer stuff from Apple, but like I said it's a choice and they're the company I prefer to go with, not because I'm being a fanboy, just because I like the way they work and produce things.

I don't see why people get so worked up about these sorts of things, why can't you just accept the fact that some people want to use different things and leave them be?

It sounds like you're bitter that they have been more innovative in production and marketing than Microsoft and others.  

Macs are better quality than the average PC, user friendly and they give good service. Windows is based off the Mac OS as well. They've slowed it down lately but point is, as you said, they should've died but they didn't and they're coming back stronger than ever.  

About the iPhone, it's the interface and what it does for the average person that is good. Apps are often free or like $2 or less, and Urban Spoon (which you pointed out) is not $5.

You shouldn't hate on a more creative company that has done business well that Microsoft took ideas from, there are still more Windows users after all.
