By believing in theism, most people generally agree that there is one God and he created this universe, the earth, and the people on that. Following that belief one would say that if that is true, then you would believe he created your life to be executed out in the precise way it has in your past leading you to have no real free will in what you choose to do with your life.

Not to mention, if the almighty, great god hand crafted each and everyone of us... how could a good and gracious god create pedophiles, murders and so on?

That only applies to people who believe in Predestination. Nice try.

Only if you mean monotheism. Polytheism would be a slightly different story.

By the way, "free will" requires a belief in the supernatural, since purely natural mechanics cannot allow it.

Which makes no difference... each religion differs from another, but if you believe in God creating the world, universe, and everything else in it... how can you say you have free will?

i was thinking that at first too. but shes also mainly talking about christianity. hindus, for example, dont have predestination so their choices do matter

No.

The very definition of God, including omniscience, implies that s/he will know your entire life. Thus, nothing you do will really be your own decision, since someone already knew what you were going to do.

monotheism doesnt instantly mean christianity or that you believe in God. you could always believe in another god there just has to be one

I wasn't attacking the belief in god haha you are misunderstanding, I am very obviously talking about ONE religion in general.
