(we're all seniors in HS) One of my friends gets to travel all the time and her parents don't really havea  curfew for her.

Another one of my friends just got two new kittens and they're so adorable. And I've never had a pet and I've always wanted one SO bad but my parents are allergic.

And most of all... I'm jealous of the relationships they have with the rest of their families and i want that so badly with my parents but our personalities are SO different we don't get along about ANYTHING.

I've tried to fix things with my parents but they honestly just get super defensive and dont really listen to anything I say.

But My friends tell me about this stuff and Its not affecting my friendships but It just makes me feel like shit about my own life.

How do I deal with this? I'm so bored with my life and it seems like my friends are getting everything that I want.

I dont really like feeling jealous....

basically how do I get what I want so I can be happy... I feel like I want all this stuff that I can't have....
