hey listen,
i've been on your side, and i know how angry you can get at your friend for something like that ("I wish i had problems like you...") now i'm on the other side, i can tell you: it's ALMOST worse. because A: they're never the ones you like, B: they're always friends of the ones you like, so they go to them for help about you, removing the friend from the picture for you, and C: Even if they aren't friends with a specific one you like, they can get a little all over you, so the one you like usually assumes you're taken, or just doesn't wanna get involved.
it sucks even worse when you're a people person to begin with, because you just hate fucking somebody's emotions up by telling them to go away, but you can't get at anything you want...
