Holy shit. I've had asthman since I was born and can remember I stopped using my inhaler about age of 7.
I've been playing rugby since 11 and 17 now. However asthma has just started getting bad (my guess seems to be the house I making it worse) . But it has really affected my sport fitness now and I seem to be taking the "blue" one more often now.
The doctor did some little test and said my lungs are working efficiently but when I play rugby I am constantly using my blue one now.

The 'blue' one is the one you're meant to use when have attack to open up your airways. I wish that happened with me!

True, but it does calm you down.

I know what it does. I'm just wondering if anyone else has asthma and is actively participating in sports

When I was in a basketball team there were a girl who was astmatic. She used sometimes an inhaler.
