I'm a bit confused about what I should do. about 2 weeks ago my friend introduced me to this guy named Nicholas; he's 25 and I'm 19. We were at Guitar Center and that's where he works and she's known him for a couple of years already. I was with her and she just like casually introduced us nothing big. Well then we start talking on myspace and facebook, just like casual stuff and lately we've been talking a lot on AIM and on the phone. He's a very sweet guy, and he's very intellectual and I enjoy talking to him & he's physically attractive as well & we just seem to have this connection. His parents are going to be in California this weekend and...well Sunday he wants to hang out, go see a movie, and then go to dinner or something where we can talk and get to know each other better. He plays guitar,writes his own songs,and sings, and he has his own studio at his house and he wants to show it to me. And he said after that maybe we can cuddle up in front of the fire place and watch a movie and be all romantic-like maybe have some wine or something as well. And don't get me wrong I'd love to spend time with him; It's just that I don't know him all that well....so I may be a bit uncomfortable being alone at his house with him but idk. He doesn't strike me as the type of man to try anything, like rape or slip me drugs or anything. He seems like a very nice guy and he is according to my friend. But idk..Should I go for it? What should I do or what precautions should I take?

I think the first time you hang out with him you shouldn't be alone. Stick to the dinner and the movies - the stuff in public - and at the least take it from there and play it by ear.

sure go out on a date with him, but don't go to his house to "cuddle" "drink wine" and be "romantic". He's much older, and since you don't know him that well you can't be sure of his intentions. The smart thing to do would be to date him (if you're that interested) but don't go "full force" especially since you barely know him. think about it...
