i recently broke up with my boyfriend(ex now) and hes been trying 2 hang still and makes me feel bad for breaking up with him all the time. he just doesn't get that the relationship would be depressing, and would be horrible for both of us if we stayed 2gether and i didn't feel the same way he does. but Ive told him off about it and now that its out in the opened its become a little easier. it still gets awkward at times though.

It look a long time for me to get over my ex, but even then, it was hard to be friends because he was dating someone and I wasn't, and I got pretty jealous.
We're not exactly friends now, but we're definitely on good terms, and I think it's because I spaced myself from him for a while before I tried to be friends again.

I personally don't understand why anyone would want to be friends with their ex but that might be due to my lack of experience. If I were in your shoes I'd tell them to piss off though
