it actually has to do with the type of gun it is, and not how it's manufacturer? :\ i think all the core mechanics are essentially the same.

AKs are ok, but not great for airsoft in general.

... that and the selection is limited for canadians. they have, the m4, the m4cqb, the m16 and some crazy mp5a5 with lots of rails. all g&g though. i'm not buying a cheap 100 dollar one... just a cheap 300 dollar one :D

Again I'd still avoid the M4, there are problems with it as an airsoft, or I have found from personal use. M16 over the M4 IMO.
