Yeah, either 500 years ago, or 500 years in the future, I say. Rather live in the future though, seeing as my sharp tongue probably would have gotten me a nice burning at the stake.... It's a bit different when looking for people who are truly intelligent, though. I mean, I, personally, express myself a lot, make a lot of innovative arguments, etc. And that's just a drop in the bucket. Sadly, even then, I rarely if ever see this. It's just demoralizing when I rarely see people express even an inkling of some intelligence, and I want much more than that, heh.
I'd rather do nothing than treat the symptoms. I mean, I'm tired of throwing my effort at pointless shit. I don't think those problems will ever disappear, but they could be a lot better though. Taking the easy way out means that it won't be for awhile.
I'm generalizing my observations to the world because I've talked to a lot of people and I have observed a lot. I mean, I can't be 100% sure, but the same general problems that plague here are present everywhere else. I mean some places, it's slightly less, but I'd imagine if it were any different, there'd be some noticeable way to tell from here. Like, if there was a significant portion of really enlightened people, there would be outreach programs. The way the government would function would be a lot different than the general first world government, because they'd reach out.
Whatever I do, I don't want to do it alone. This is probably a tall order, but whatever. And I'm not really interested in going around and pointlessly killing people.
