Hmmm... That's a good question actually. I can't think of a genetic reason hating your partner's exes would be beneficial, but on the other hand.. I really hate a lot of my girlfriend's exes. More of that may come from the fact they're assholes who consistently still hit on her though.

I know my ex current bf wants me dead. She left him for me once, after she got mad at me and got back with him. He got her to not tlk to me. At first it was no touching,kiss or hug, that didnt stop me

I think that it is instinctual to feel threatened by them. I mean, if your boyfriend/girlfriend liked them once, who is to say they won't again.

I think that it is something you have to overcome.
