I have a lot of problems with my Mom, to start off with. We never get along, and it's not just a typical mother/teenage daughter relationship, it's much worse. We get in verbal/physical fights nearly every day, and it takes a lot out of a person to deal with it EVERY SINGLE DAY. Today was one of our worst ever. She got pissed off because I was watching MTV when she came in to watch something, so she snatched the remote from me and slapped me. I don't care if she is my mother, if anyone hits me I'll hit back, so of course and I did. After about 10 minutes of hitting/slapping each other, she grabbed my cellphone,(That my DAD pays for, not her), said she was going to call the sheriff's department on me, and left. Needless to say, by that time I was just about ready to do something Livewire doesn't allow me to say I would do. After about two hours of waiting for the police to arrive, I finally called my cellphone from our house phone and she picked up and said she'd be out all night. I told her I wasn't staying alone, so I'd get my Dad to come get me. She told me I'd better not and then said she'd be home in an hour. When she got back about half an hour ago, she started yelling at me again.
Of course, she never called the cops and I got my phone back, but I can't take this anymore. I'm 16, so I should be able to get emancipated from her and live with my older sister, but she's said she won't sign for it, even though she keeps telling me to get out of her house.
I can't take this anymore, I really can't. I feel like I'm losing my mind, and I know I won't be able to handle this for the next two years. Someone help, please.
